The Asia Enterprise Infrastructure Business Manager (Asia EI BM) is a consultant position with a broad range of responsibilities. The Asia EI BM faces off with all levels of IT, senior management of the Firm and global counterparts. The Asia EI BM is responsible for the communication, financial analysis, process management and administration of the business aspects of the Asia Enterprise Infrastructure department. The position is based in Shanghai and is responsible for covering Asia Enterprise Infrastructure.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
# Liaison with senior IT and business unit management.
# Liaison with global business management groups.
# Analysis of financial and production metrics. Business modeling of EI operations and projects. Creation and analysis of cost allocation methodologies.
# Analysis and financial management of EI related projects.
# Formulation and management of financial practice policies and procedures.
# Liaison with firm accounting & controllers group that do the detailed accounting work.
# Business planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and presentation.
KEY SKILLS IN ORDER OF PRIORITY
COMMUNICATION AND PRESENTATION - Upward, downward and lateral. Requires ability to gather and communicate EI story to senior management through written and oral means. Excellent oral and written English a must.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING ANALYSIS ? Must have demonstrated strength in management accounting areas. Analyses include benchmarking, total cost of ownership, decomposition of allocations, etc.
Understanding of EI technology and how infrastructure unit operates
INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE - plus
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
# Min 3 years in similar position. Ability to analyze operating costs, capital spend, cost drivers and allocations.
# Fresh graduate with strong academic background and demonstrates excellent communication skill will be considered.
# Must have outstanding organizational and communication skills. Ability to develop and conduct presentations for all levels, including executive management.
# University degree in business/accounting, technology, and/or CPA.
# Ability to manage and achieve objectives in a high-pace, time-constrained environment.
