European DataWarehouse (ED) is the first central platform in Europe for collecting, validating and making available for download detailed, standardised level data for specific asset-backed securities (ABS) transactions. Developed, owned and operated by the market, ED helps facilitating risk assessment and improving transparency standards for European ABS deals.

Within this role you will play a critical role in the development of various software tools, utilities and process automation at ED. Being a very hands-on member of the IT team, you will focus equally on both internal tools and ED’s customer facing software utilities.

 Your Responsibilities:

  • Build & Maintain internal tools using Excel, VBA and Microsoft SQL
  • Manage various SQL jobs that help in the daily operations
  • Build and manage various SQL views and procedures to help aggregate and visualize Loan Level Data
  • Help ED colleagues with IT related issues

Your Profile:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • [2-8 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL
  • Excellent VBA knowledge
  • Prior experience in the financial sector would be an added advantage
  • Analytical and innovative
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and international environment
