As part of the Front Office IT department the Equity derivatives team is in charge of developing FO tools used on a daily basis by traders and sales.

The team is looking for a developer to participate into the development and support of IndexMan.

IndexMan is SocGen primary indices composition tool. It covers the daily composition over a thousand indices on stock, ETF and fixed income products. Traders and Risk/P&L operators rely heavily on the accuracy of the indices composition from FO pricing to books valuation.

Mission

Main Responsibilities

  • First line of support of the application
  • Provide early support and testing when a new version is released or whenever necessary
  • Improve and bug fix the application
  • Migrate indices providers model to a newer one
  • Daily communicate and report with Paris development and application manager
  • Document support and improve monitoring solution


Profile

Key Skills Areas and Knowledge Required

Operational skills:

  • Proven years of development in C# and .NET environment (other OO languages if experience is relevant and successful)
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Proven experience in developing multi-tier applications
  • Experience in TDD and continuous delivery methodologies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft interoperability is a plus
  • Good mathematical background

  • Strong communication skills to interact with various departments across regions
  • Autonomous and well organized
  • Curious and passionate about technology


Experience required

  • This role requires a development experience in financial industry of minimum 2 years.
