Trade Report Development Lead

Trade Reporting Systems is a set of regulatory, mission critical trade reporting applications used in APAC supporting 150+ active users spanned across 6 trading locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • IT owner of Trade Reporting application deployed across APAC region
  • Ability to envision, architect, design, implement and upgrade new/existing trade reporting platform
  • A demonstrable track record handling demanding user groups in a time critical environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals and meet deadlines
  • Must be detail oriented with very strong organizational and communication skills
  • Participate in application requirement sessions with business analysts and technical staff
    Provide timely updates on progress of assigned tasks to project manager
  • Coordinate/execute QA test plans before releasing product enhancements for user testing
  • Assist in production release of new functionality and provide assistance in support of production issues
  • Document user defined enhancement requests, product gaps, and product bugs
  • Must be willing to take initiative and employ good follow-through skills


You Offer
  • Knowledge of enterprise architectures and systems
  • Strong C# development background. (12+ years)
  • Strong Oracle Database and SQL experience
  • Sound multi-threading, core server and client side development experience
  • Strong Debugging techniques and performance tuning abilities
  • Experience in Financial industry (Cash Equity IT in Investment Bank) developing Front office systems required
  • Solid experience supporting traders and other business users is required
  • Understanding of various securities such as Equities, Warrants, Options, Futures and Bonds
  • Extensive hands-on experience with source code management best practices and automated testing
  • Deep understanding of Software Engineering disciplines with Object Oriented designs and performance analysis techniques
  • Experience with test-driven development a plus
  • Exposure to Agile development methodology is required
