Within Reply, our financial services management consultancy -- Avantage Reply -- has 12 offices across Europe (Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Lisbon, London, Luxembourg, Milan, Munich, Paris, and Rome).

In the context of our growing activities in Luxembourg, we are recruiting :

a) one senior manager, 

b) two managers, and

c) two consultants

in our Enterprise Risk Solutions Practice.

Description of the role 

You will join a very experienced team in Luxembourg working with local and international clients and colleagues from other European offices.

As a member of our Enterprise Risk Solutions Practice, you will work within our Services Teams assisting our clients in developing and/or integrating Enterprise Risk Solutions. 

As a member of our professional services teams, you will participate in the following tasks:

a) Project setup and kick-off;

b) Detailed project plan validation;

c) Gap analysis;

d) Data interfaces specification between the risk datamart and other banking systems;

e) ETL architecture and implementation;

f) Data quality checks;

g) User acceptance tests;

h) Data loading until the validation of go-live; and

i) Project management and follow-Up.


Whilst specific responsibilities will be a function of previous experience, candidates should have the following experience:

a) Bachelor’s or Master’s Degre from a recognised academic program;

b) A minimum of 2-4 years (senior consultants) / 4-6 years (manager) / 6-9 years (senior managers) of relevant delivery experience, ideally with a top-tier consulting firm or software organisation, leading financial services firm or project-based environment;

c) Good working knowledge of risk management (regulatory and/or balance sheet requirements) and software industry;

d) Results oriented, ability to set clear goals and objectives, focusing on the achievement of targets, quality and deadlines;
e) Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and you can confidently present/engage with clients and develop rapport over the telephone;

f) Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions;

g) Ability to work independently while also demonstrating real team-working skills;

h) Understanding of technical concepts, development techniques, operating systems and database subsystems such as Oracle and SQL Server;

i) Must be prepared to travel regularly across Europe; and

j) Fluent in English (other languages, including Dutch, French and German are a plus).

Specific Technical Knowledge:

Primary areas:

a) Prudential regulation (Basel / CRR & CRD) and/or Solvency II;

b) Asset Liability Management;

c) Financial products;

d)  Oracle / PL-SQL and Application Servers such as TOMCAT.

Secondary areas:

a) Core Banking systems.

b) Risk Systems.

c)  Other Database platforms: MS SQL Server, Sybase, MS Access.
