What you will be doing

  • To be responsible for building and maintaining key ETL Components and Interfaces to Third Party Systems
  • Deliver Software to Specifications and Quality Expectations
  • Ensure all agreed Team Deliverables are met and on time
  • Working with the existing Team to deliver and maintain the Interfaces required by the Multi Year TOM program
  • Work with Analysts and Automated Testers to delivering software to agreed Standards
  • Working with the existing team to ensure that all Releases of the TOM Deliverables are a success and implemented with no Production Outages
  • Performing BAU Activities for a two week period as per the team rotation

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • Educated to a degree standard with a proven track record of working in the Financial Arena
  • Experience using Oracle 12c, SQL Server 2008 or above
  • Intimate knowledge of the development and unit testing of PL\SQL, Functions, Stored Procedures
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering enterprise applications using ETL technologies such as SSIS, Talend and Pentaho
  • Sound and Deep knowledge of TDD \ BDD and ATDD approach to software development
  • Exposure to Agile Methodologies
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Jira \ BitBucket \ Bamboo and Confluence
  • Knowledge of Database Virtualization and Masking technologies such as Delphix \ SnapClone
  • Exposure to DevOps and in particular tools such as Ansible \ Puppet
  • Exposure to GoldenSource and or Blackrock Aladdin.
  • A deep understanding of asset management enterprise data, its associated processes, systems, controls and deliverables.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • A performance driven individual with an ability to use Initiative.
