The ideal candidate will join an elite team of enterprise engineers with an aim to deploy high performance networks with extreme up time requirements utilizing cutting edge network technologies. This role will focus on all aspects of enterprise networking including datacenter, market data, co-lo, and end user environments. The candidate must be a subject matter expert with hands-on experience in network engineering, implementation, and operations across a global enterprise environment with extreme up time and stability requirements.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Engineering role in enterprise networks. Balanced mix of project and operations across all aspects of the network, including Market Data, low latency execution, datacenter, desktop connectivity, Enterprise compute grids, corporate Wi-fi, remote offices, and WAN/MAN
  • Represent network for the APAC region and serve as an escalation point for critical issues
  • Help connect the global team to key network challenges and needs for the APAC region
  • Contribution, creation, and deployment of global standards and participation into the network automation framework for deployment and operations
  • L4/L3 operational support

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Bachelors degree in a related field required
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a technical engineering role for networks
  • Proven ability to work hands on as well as in a strong technical leadership capability in a global organization
  • Strong communication skills across engineering staff and Sr. executives
  • Expert skills in Enterprise Network Engineering and design including Trading and Market Data networks, Multicast, Compute Farm networks (leaf/spine), route/switch, Cisco, Arista, Wi-Fi, WAN engineering, expert in routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), Enterprise QoS, POE, networks support voice and video (Real-time media)
  • Knowledge and experience of DMZ and Network Security technologies, Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers (iRules), Netscaler, WAF is preferred
  • Python, Java, and/or TCL programming ability isstrongly preferred
  • Experience with Network management technologies is a plus
  • Willingness to learn is a must. Detail oriented; Demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work
  • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
  • Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; High sense of urgency
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to technical staff as well as CIO level communication
