Responsible for leading the operational support function of the banks communications infrastructure.
Global Network Teams, Engineering and Delivery Teams, Application/Business Support, Legal & Compliance, CTM's, External Service Providers

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and drive excellence in Incident / Problem / Change Management of SCB Voice services.
  • Ownership of all Voice Risks.
  • Escalation point for voice issues within the bank.
  • Managing a geographically diverse team.
  • Ownership of all voice vendor contracts.
  • Financial responsibility for all Voice run the bank activities.
  • Ensuring the banks regulatory requirements in the voice space are met.
  • Stakeholder management of internal teams, CTM's, CIO's, Business COO's.
  • Vendor Management of voice vendors.
  • Continuous service improvement including operational efficiencies.
  • Ownership of service stability initiatives.
  • Ownership of Voice audit findings ensuring actions are followed up and closed.
  • Part of the wider leadership team contributing to cross functional activities.
  • Service improvement and business efficiency initiatives.
  • Working and owning RFP's for voice services within the bank.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Masters / Graduate degree
  • Over 10 years of managing infrastructure teams in a financial services company.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills for articulating thoughts clearly with stakeholders ranging from engineers to senior business management.
  • Experience in working with cross-border teams, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
  • Fundamental skills of Task prioritization, Time management, Customer focus.
