Videos are a key component of OCBC Bank's marketing strategy, especially through social and digital channels. Working closely with a small team, we are looking for a videographer with strong shoot and video editing skills, to bring key campaigns and messages to life in new and interesting ways.
This position requires the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and autonomously work on video content so that it is delivered in a timely manner. The job is essentially broken down into three components:
  1. Key campaigns and business objectives: Within the bank, we have identified key business priorities and campaigns. You will work with the respective Business Units end-to-end for the ideation, story-boarding, video production and editing of the videos. Some examples are:

  2. BAU (Business As Usual) work: We put together at least 1 slideshow video on a weekly basis to promote our deals (E.g. travel, dining, etc.). We already have the assets hence only video-editing work to create a video theme is necessary. Some examples are:

    2. Executional support of CFS brand activation for festive seasons - Christmas branch decorations
    3. Assist in internal photography where required
You will have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders, and learn about many different aspects of the business and financial industry. We are looking for someone who is motivated, energetic, possess good planning and organisational skills, good with deadlines and has the right technical skills to succeed. We have also set up an in-house studio with equipment for simple video shoots.

THE RIGHT PERSON PERSON FOR THIS JOB WILL:
  • Drive video projects through from pre-production to the post-production process to achieve interesting video content whilst maintaining brand integrity
  • Coordinate with Marketing and stakeholders to conceptualise video ideas all the way to the shoot and post-production
  • Maintain a steady flow of content
  • Take ownership for pre-production, shooting, editing and assisting in production and post-production, editing from scratch, relying on creative instincts and industry best-practices
  • Helps to sustain and guide creative process, assists in developing storyboards and mood boards for various shoots. Source materials including stock imagery, photos, video clips and audio sources and determine what equipment is necessary and obtains equipment for the specific shoot. This includes lighting, microphones, props, etc.
  • Selection and implementing special visual effects, music, and special audio for each video shoot
  • Create rough and final cuts
  • Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency
  • Evaluate existing video content and identify areas of technical or editorial improvement
  • Meet deadlines
  • Support team in executing brand and sponsorship projects - OCBC Cycle, WTA Finals, Christmas and CNY branch décor


Qualifications
  • A Creative Disruptive Thinker and a Brand Ambassador, able to concept out of the box original ideas, protect the creative integrity of the concept and follow through to production and post
  • Proven portfolio of production and post-production work
  • Solid experience with digital technology, digital media software tools and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be familiar with social media tools (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Twitter, Tumblr)
  • Creative, independent, detail-minded
  • A team-player able to work independently and under tight schedules
  • Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
  • Familiarity with basic animation special effects, 3D and compositing
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
