An Infrastructure Technical Expert is responsible for in depth technical knowledge, troubleshooting of issues on a Corporate desktop and overall governance of the Desktop Environment and Operational Security Activities

  • You an exciting and challenging opportunity to join our team of Subject Matter Experts as a Tanium technical expert who will support the CS End User Services, Productivity Services Infrastructure and supporting applications.
  • You the opportunity to help operate and support our Global Security Infrastructures (Tanium, McAfee, Lumension and DFS)
  • The chance to be a part of a team responsible for ensuring the operation stability and support to our partners.
  • You the accountability to partner and support end point security, software delivery and Citrix Solution Infrastructure.
  • You will join a team that is split into subgroups of approximately 3 - 4 SME's per area.
  • The possibility to remote investigation, resolution and escalation of major Incidents and Problems affecting the desktop environment.
  • You technical excellence in the ability to diagnose and resolve software and backend infrastructure issues.
  • Ownership of Major incidents and technical escalations from IT Support Teams affecting the desktop platform.
  • Collaboration with cross-technology peer-groups, with a focus on root-cause analysis.
  • Support all ITIL processes, in particular the Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.


You Offer
You offer
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • You bring with excellent practical knowledge in Microsoft VBS /Powershell scripting
  • Excellent support knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server Operating System
  • You have experience with one or more of the following products: Tanium, Lumension, McAfee EP and SCOM
  • Knowledge of Windows Distributed Files Systems (DFS) and knowledge with Windows Active Directory (AD/LDS)
  • Proven exposure and experience in large enterprise managed desktop and server environment
  • Solid documentation skills, including PowerPoint presentation skills to deliver a key message, advanced MS Office skills
  • You have strong Analytical/ Troubleshooting skills to solve problems.
  • Strong collaboration within the team, communication and information sharing is critical
  • Fluent English Skills required - German language skills nice to have
