We are seeking a Global Head of Professional Services. Reporting to the President of the Insurance Group, this is an immediate opportunity for a strong business and operations leader to build, transform and scale a global professional services business in our Insurance vertical, where our clients are being challenged by both regulation and competitive factors within the Industry.

FIS’ Insurance Business provides mission-critical software and services to institutions in virtually every segment of the insurance services industry across the Globe. Within the Institutional & Wholesale Division, our team members located across the globe, focus on supporting the Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Property & Casualty Insurance, and Pension or Retirement Product marketplaces. These solutions address the processing requirements of a broad range of users with our core administration platforms, workflow processing, actuarial modeling, data analytics, and accounting solutions. Across all of our product lines, we provide professional services that focus on application implementations, ongoing application support, custom software development and general consulting, which ranges from actuarial modeling, system integration, business process management, to ongoing product configuration, as just a few examples.

We are seeking a Global Head of Professional Services. Reporting to the President of the Insurance Group, this is an immediate opportunity for a strong business and operations leader to build, transform and scale a global professional services business in our Insurance vertical, where our clients are being challenged by both regulation and competitive factors within the Industry. This is a role for a proven industry leader who possesses the aspiration and drive to build a game-changing business model and make a major contribution to the future of our global insurance business.  We believe this business totaling 150+ employees, has the potential for top line growth of 20% per year, during the course of the next three to five years.

Position Responsibilities:

• Set overall direction for the professional services organization. Oversee design and implementation, including strategies and goals to drive organic growth on a global scale.
• Provide strategic thought leadership to clients and to internal product and sales teams within Insurance and the global professional services practice.
• Work with customers in solving complex problems, from the Front office of Insurers to the Back office, where we support Insurers in the area of Financials (Insurance General Ledger & Investment Accounting) and Back Office (Core Administration), in addition to Risk Management (Actuarial Modeling, Analytics, and Data Management) and Healthcare.
• Build a high performing team by creating a work environment where individuals and teams can achieve peak performance through the attraction, development and engagement of the best and the brightest.
• Lead the roll-out of best practices around project management, performance metrics, utilization and delivery in an organization which was centralized into one global team during the last year.
• Collaborate/partner with the broader FIS executive professional service teams across the Groups to build synergies and seize opportunities. 
• Develop and/or champion initiatives that focus on bringing innovation in the form of new services, identifying opportunities for existing offerings in new markets, or generating more revenue from existing offerings and third party partnerships.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate must have a transformational track record as a Professional Services leader with experience in the Insurance and/or Risk Management software industry.  This individual will have a history of managing the growth of client relationships and generating outstanding and sustainable business performance. This executive will have proven his/her ability to execute flawlessly and drive/motivate others around him/her to do the same. Success in this role will be determined by the individual’s track-record of building sustainable and exponential business growth over an extended period of time.
