A global leading financial services software provider is looking for a Head of Capital Markets and Senior Capital Markets specialists to join their fast growing team.

The Position:

Your role as a head of sales for the Capital Markets business will be to lead a team of 8 experienced Sales in order to expand the existing strong footprint in the UK and Ireland regions.

The role will be responsible for a revenue target of £50mil with push to grow to a team of 10. Salary of £300k OTE plus.

-       Lead your sales team

-       Engage with your team and with clients to develop opportunities and close deals

-       Position our offering and transformation strategy to clients

-       Understand the business offering in the different lines of business

-       Drive the go to market activity

-       Engage with business owners on client side to evangelize and sell our vision

-       Ensure a big enough pipe coverage (upsell, cross-sell, new names) that will allow you to overachieve your sales target

-       Understand market trends and regulations

-       Drive the Capital Markets Service strategy for the region

-       Ensure a governance is organized with all your major clients

-       Engage with our partners to increase the pipe

-       Accurately forecast future business to your management

-       Co-manage the activity with other departements: Prof. Services, Product Management, Customer Service, …


-          Proven track record of growing and developing a team with sole responsibility of its P&L

-          Developing a team and success through others

-          Proven connections in UK Financial Services sector especially in the Capital Markets segment

-          Deal history of creating propositions in concert with partners (technology vendors)

-          History in developing business in major account

-          Looking for career opportunity and progression – Ambitious, hungry and extremely driven  

-          Has domain depth and expertise may have spent some time in pre-sales or consulting side of the business before transferring to sales/business leadership
