Our client is one of Australia's Personal Injury experts based centrally on the Gold Coast. This reputable firm is seeking a hardworking and passionate paralegal to join their team due to increased growth. The firm specialises solely in personal injury and would consider a paralegal who is looking to transition to this busy area of law or someone who has great experience in PI already. They are looking for a full-timer either on a permanent basis or on a temporary basis depending on your needs.
Your new role
This busy and varied role is very fast paced and will suit someone who's looking for a long-term career as a paralegal. The firm genuinely takes care of their clients and would suit a compassionate individual. Duties would include:
- Preparation of correspondence and legal documents
- Client liaison
- Preparing briefs
- Booking appointments
- Collating documentation and dictation
- File management
- Assisting the solicitors with any further tasks needed for a matter
To be considered for this sought-after opportunity you will have:
- Previous experience as a paralegal (Personal Injury experience is desirable but not essential)
- Strong work ethic
- Impeccable communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast-paced role
- Excellent administration and computer skills
