What is your tribe mission?
The Digital Customer Experience tribe or technology team (DCX) is responsible for the mobile experience of millions of ANZ customers. We build and operate the ANZ App and its platform, accelerating our delivery cycles to better serve our customers. Our platform includes both iOS and Android apps as well as the respective ecosystems, microservices, myriad set of environments, operating systems, containers and cloud platforms.

We’re looking for self-motivated full-cycle developers who have strong technology foundation and can identify and solve difficult open-ended problems and cope with a complex and versatile environment. What will be in your toolkit?
  • Experience in modern development practices and languages such as: Java, Go, Kotlin, NodeJS, and JavaScript/React
  • A thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies (e.g. self learning, community involvement, or contributing to open source) bringing benefits into the tribe
  • Work with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable applications
  • Design, implement, triage and diagnose defects/issues across the full stack
  • Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and be involved with design discussions about architecture, data models, business logic

You will also have the following specialised skills:
  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery. Tooling such as Git/GitHub, Bamboo/Jenkins, Gradle, NPM/Yarn, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, SonarCube, etc.
  • Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
  • Ability to use open source technologies and tools
  • There are roles available at multiple levels (Junior/Mid-level/Senior) and types (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, DevOps).
