The Better Risk Outcomes Program (BROP) is a comprehensive, Group-wide culture and change program that will help us place the customer at the centre of our risk decisions and actions, and make us a better bank. BROP exists to significantly uplift our operational risk and compliance risk capability, and significantly shift our culture to exceed customer expectations and needs.

Your impact & contribution
Working in close partnership with BROP HR's Capability Stream and other HR Steams, the OD Capability & Project Manager is responsible for contributing leading and delivering Capability Framework Assessments, and for the project management of the BROP HR Capability stream.

The role also shares responsibilities in refinement and tracking of the implementation project plan, maintenance of project risk and issue logs, and sprint planning for the stream.

Your responsibilities

Capability Framework and Assessment Delivery
  • Work in partnership with Risk colleagues, business leaders and external partners to design and deliver a fit-for-purpose assessment solution and capability uplift solutions
  • Taking a user-centric approach to understand the solutions required
  • Manage Capability Framework and Assessment deliverables; track and report progress, and risks
  • Use key success measures to evaluate solutions and ensure they meet the closure criteria agreed as part of our Enforceable Undertaking

Project Management
  • Establish the framework to manage project scope, schedule, quality and cost
  • Ensure integration with associated processes including reporting, risk management, change management and quality assurance
  • Ensure the reporting requirements accurately measure the project and program performance
  • Administration in project management processes including status reporting, budget management and schedule management
  • Coordinate project meetings / SCRUMs including the distribution of papers, development of agendas and minute taking
  • Assemble, maintain and collate project information to produce coordinated, consolidated and timely reporting including risks and issues, milestones, resources and financials

Your skills & Experience
  • Expertise in designing and implementing development-focused capability assessments and effective L&D strategies
  • Successful in partnering with a variety of stakeholders to deliver outcomes that meet the needs of multiple parties
  • Proven Project Management experience, demonstrating a high level knowledge of project management delivery processes
  • Strong leadership and communication ability with a demonstrated ability to be pragmatic
  • Experience working within a project environment and managing conflicting priorities
  • Thrive in structured project environments
  • Demonstrated personal characteristics of perseverance and adaptability
