Sytems Officer - (Voice Data and Voice Support)

6 Month Contract

Government Based Client

70 - 80 per hour plus super

The Systems Officer will be tasked to Receive escalated requests from end-users and proactively manage the delivery of support and issue resolution. Investigate, troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and other requests for support to determine and implement appropriate actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and quality assurance for the development of self-service tools provided by Service/Help Desk.
  • Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps and develop standard workflows for frequently occurring applications requests to enable Service Desk agents, at the first point of contact, to assist end-users quickly and effectively.
  • Participate in project teams as required in association with system upgrades, installations and new deployments
  • Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of new and emerging technologies and products in the environment supported by the Data and Voice Support services team
  • Liaise with third party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve priority faults

Criteria for Selection:
  • Extensive experience in Telephony project deployment and support activities in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent
  • Knowledge and practical experience in working with the full suite of Avaya VoIP call centre technologies including Breeze and experience portal.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • Willingness and ability to participate in a 24 * 7 phone support roster.
