Your role and the working environment

Our team is developing a new ING European banking platform. Thus, you will be collaborating with our colleagues based in The Netherlands. As a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) , you will contribute to designing the new customer journey and to improving existing journeys. You will rely on your desire to offer an exceptional customer experience, your knowledge of event management and sponsoring processes, and your marketing campaign management skills.

As a member of the team working on campaigns, financial conferences, sponsorships, and events for customers in the Personal and Private Banking segments, you will be working on a wide variety of topics such as organising financial conferences, participating in and establishing events for these customer groups, implementing new campaigns, etc.

Your primary responsibilities

  • To define the objectives for events and conferences for Personal and Private Banking customers, and implement monitoring.
  • To define clear processes for all stakeholders
  • To implement a decision-making system for new partnerships
  • To review all procedures and objectives applicable to DR/PR
  • To organise alignments and review the Dashboard in relation to requirements

The profiles we are seeking...
A colleague who is not afraid to jump in and who produces results , who is enthusiastic about the idea of helping others succeed , and who is able to always stay ahead . In other words, you try to develop new ideas, and you are up to the challenges of a complex and continuously changing environment. You like teamwork, listen to others, and invest in others to achieve common objectives. You like to question established situations and want to propose creative solutions to problems.
  • You have relevant experience in event and conference management, and sponsorship
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns is preferred but not essential
  • You are motivated and customer-focused.
  • You like to work with other people, but you also work well independently.
  • You have strong analytical, organisational, and (agile) implementation skills.
  • You take the initiative and move things forward rapidly thanks to your problem solving skills and your positive attitude.
  • Change is part of your DNA: the way our world and customers are changing interests you; that is why you want to continually improve our processes.
  • You have experience (or want to develop it) in process automation through robotics and by using Visual Basic for Excel.
  • You speak fluent English, and Dutch or French.
  • You have a masters degree in communication or equivalent experience.

We are offering
A newly created position in a bank that promotes the development of its employees and offers exciting challenges to those who have an enterprising spirit.
