An international asset management company is looking for a high caliber professional to join as Internal Distribution - Executive Director. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management company with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region.  With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber professional to join them in Hong Kong.

Accountable for driving sales and increase AUM through via business channel. Provide distribution support and product training to internal channel and enhance their product knowledge to maximise sales opportunity.  Create a strong partnership with other stakeholders to build business synergy and develop the financial plan to accelerate the internal channel growth. Build a strong channel in Hong Kong servicing the needs of customers with a target of significantly lifting the share of sales. Develop and drive Hong Kong sales strategies. Set up proper sales process and procedure in alignment with   the internal & external regulatory standard. Put in place the necessary recruiting, training, development, KPIs and tools necessary to lift the sales capabilities to meet the needs of  the channel partners.

To be qualified, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 15 years of experience with a proven track record in multi-channel fund distribution business. Sound product knowledge with an understanding of mutual fund market trends and movements, as well as ideally a proven ability to identify product trends and to advise in the design of products to meet investor needs. Understanding of strategy and business development processes, practices and applications, together with sound knowledge of the operational and regulatory frameworks. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, able to lead an inspire a sales force, creating and articulating a vision, developing tangible strategies and plans and mobilizing a multi country team as well as the broader business to implement this vision.
