Our client is a fast growing Financial Services Company (MNC, Buy side) with strong market share in Asia Pacific. To cope with its expansion across the region, they are looking for a seasoned Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer candidate to help bring the organization to next level.

Our client is a fast growing Financial Services Company (MNC, Buy side) with strong market share in Asia Pacific. To cope with its expansion across the region, they are looking for a seasoned Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer candidate to help bring the organization to next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Network and Security Design, Implementation & Maintenance
  • Designs, implements, maintains, manages and monitors the corporate network and security infrastructure, according to the industry best-practices regarding performance, security and availability
  • Configures the Local Area and Wide Area network; the latter in close collaboration with the global network team
  • Monitors the performance, security, availability and pro-actively and continuously improves the corporate network and security infrastructure and associated processes
  • Implements, maintain the Network and Security monitoring policies, procedures and controls that ensure the quality of the APG Asia corporate network and security infrastructure, the IT processes, and organization. As defined by and derived from the overall company network and security related policies, guidelines and industry best practices;
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancements;
  • Provide Tier 3 network security support for Palo Alto, Symantec (message-lab, EPO), internet and cloud environments; and
  • Manage our operational network security vendor relationships, including maintenance renewals, cost management, platform refreshes, identifying end-of-life concerns, and product quality issues.

Requirnments:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years working experience in IT in the Finance industry;
  • 5+ years of working with routing protocols including OSPF and BGP (IGP/EGP);
  • Experience managing IPSEC VPN encryption platforms and policies;
  • Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer;
  • Experience with low-level network and security infrastructure testing, performance analysis and troubleshooting tools;
  • Expert knowledge in Cisco technologies, ISE, Prime Infrastructure;
  • Expert knowledge TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, operating systems, virtualization and applications data flows;
  • Understanding of network security policy implementation and how to manage design and support of network environments to maintain policy integrity;
  • Experience with technology from enterprise networking vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo
  • Alto, RSA and Checkpoint;
  • Experience in building and maintaining security systems including but not limited to understanding of network security policy implementation and how to manage design, maintenance and support of network environments to maintain policy integrity;
  • Hands on experience in security systems and networking technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.;
