This is a Senior Associate level position based in Hong Kong. The incumbent is expected to perform a variety of sales and business duties for SGX Hong Kong office to support our manager and employees.

The key deliverables are (though not limited to):

  • Handles basic client requests and client service
  • Conduct pre-sales activities such as data mining, creation of client shortlists and prepares sales presentations, tools and materials to support sales efforts
  • Support post-sales activities, such as catering for client data requests and general client queries
  • Assisting with client onboarding and agreements
  • Leverages data sources to track, analyze and report performance against key metrics and activities
  • Accompany senior sales staff on some sales calls
  • Researches, analyzes and compiles segment, market trend and client intelligence data to improve sales prospecting and decision-making, and support new business opportunities
  • Understand mechanics of Salesforce CRM system and navigates effectively to input and exports data
  • Preparing budgets and regularly scheduled reports such as monthly expense and marketing report for submission per timeline stipulated by HQ/Singapore
  • Liaise with executives and other offices to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • Making arrangements for any roadshows/events – arranging for logistics, conference room, presentation set-up (if any), list of invitees, managing invitations and RSVP, high tea arrangements etc. including assisting with booth duties, if necessary
  • Managing office paperwork filings and ensuring files are organized and kept up to date
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Establish a close working relationship with HQ business control/sales management function in Singapore
  • Be aware and act in compliance with internal policies and local rules and regulation


  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent qualification with 2 to 3 years of work experience, in or related to the financial markets – securities/derivatives/investment industry, with experience in marketing and business development.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to cope well under pressure
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Understand the protocol in handling confidential information
  • Highly responsible, meticulous, dedicated and resourceful with attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Organized and systematic with good initiative
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills with networking and influencing skills
  • Good liaison skills necessary
  • Ability to work amicably with distributed teams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin          
  • Prior sales experience with financial institutions will be an advantage
