Description

  • Form close, collaborative and trusted relationships with business leaders, HR seniors and regional/global Talent & Learning (T&L) team members - ensuring strong, proactive communication links exist to all stakeholders.
  • Understand the ICG product and Global Functions needs and priorities, collaborate with the business, HR Advisors (HRAs), Recruiting, L&D, Talent & Diversity partners, external partners etc., regionally and globally, to create and execute the Talent Management, culture, D&I, L&D, executive development, and human capital strategy aligned to these needs. Manage analytics and reporting, execution, and evaluation for all elements of the strategy.
  • Lead thought leadership for Talent, Diversity, Performance Management, change management and organizational development, and ensure that all outcomes are effectively analyzed, reported and actioned.
  • Responsible for the performance, development and engagement of a small team of Talent & Learning Advisors.
  • Accountable for the initiation, implementation, communication and measurement of key strategies and processes relating to a strong diverse bench of future leaders including talent review/succession planning, diversity, talent identification, assessment and development, performance management, etc.
  • Partner closely with HRAs, Campus, Program Management and Diversity, to manage, evaluate and enhance high potential development programs to build internal talent pipeline (selection, assessment, assignment management/mobility, retention initiatives, training, off-program placement, performance management and career counselling); manage high potential program nominations for global and regional programs.
  • Address individual, team, and organizational learning opportunities and gaps by identifying, assessing and articulating learning needs, then sourcing and delivering the curriculum/program/solution.
  • Identify the need for external specialists/ vendors, then source, brief, and evaluate the vendor (including executive coaches).
  • Represent talent and diversity on Affinity Groups and business operating committees, supporting talent and diversity pipelines and development.
  • Build external partnerships and position Citi's Talent, Learning and D&I brand at key industry forums.



Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker with experience of designing and driving a Talent and Learning strategy aligned with the business strategy and plans.
  • Track record in successfully driving the organization and people outcomes of significant business transformation, ideally including digitization and partnering with the business to reprofile the workforce for the future.
  • Excellent consulting skills, and client relationship management skills to partner effectively withsenior business leaders and HR partners. Ability to manage expectations and value diverse opinions.

  • Extensive experience in project management, communications or related in a global environment, with complex stakeholder groups.
  • Previous experience in talent management strategy and/ or diversity and/ or learning & development.
  • Strong management, leadership, coaching and mentoring experience; experience in coaching teams and individuals to high performance.
  • Ability to collaborate, challenge and influence internal stakeholders at various levels in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Proven track record in executing and measuring impactful, effective and innovative solutions.
  • Capable of performing effectively in complex situations with limited guidance and unafraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple multi-geography concurrent projects and adapt to rapidly evolving and changing priorities; resilient and flexible.
  • Expert facilitation and presentation experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Displays initiative, with a strong desire to learn the business and stay up to date with developments in areas of expertise, as well as external industry developments.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor degree in a related field is preferred.
