Our client is a leading International Investment Bank. This powerhouse has been growing aggressively in the last couple of years in APAC and currently seeking for an exceptional Information Security professional to join their fast-paced and collaborative team.

The Role:

The Information Security Specialist will contribute their professional, specialist and technical skills to ensure agreed information security program, operations and initiatives are successfully delivered.

This role will report to the CIO and Head of Information Security and will be primarily responsible for delivering the Information Security Program, IT Security Operations and Governance, Risk and Compliance activities associated with the information security function.

You will ensure the implementation of industry best practice policies, procedures, and practices that address physical security, cyber security, data privacy and protection, as well as compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience
• Proven track record and experience in leading information security function, security programs, or security operations for International Banks/Financial Institutions
• Minimum of five years’ experience in information security specific roles
• Candidates who are CISSP, CISA, GIAC, CEH, CISM or CCSP certified is advantageous
• Knowledge on regulatory requirements such as HKMA, MAS, PCI-DSS and etc.
• Demonstrated experience in security solution design and execution of programs that meet the objectives of information and cyber security
• Strong communication skills with proven experience working with senior business stakeholder at board, executive, senior management levels to advocate for and achieve successful business outcomes
