Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, another technical field or equivalent experience
  • Recent graduate or 1 to 5 years of business experience
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system and SQL
  • Familiar with software design and development cycle (user requirements, specifications, development, tests and documentation)
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and troubleshooting ability
  • Language requirements: Japanese: fluent, English:  reading comprehension



Preferred qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Computer Science or another technical field
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience presenting and delivering technical presentations
  • Experience working with ETL tools (PowerCenter, BusinessObjects Data Integrator…)
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Qlik …)
  • Experience working with a Data Lake or a Data Warehouse
  • Experience developing PL SQL, stored procedures
  • Language requirements: Japanese: fluent, English:  fluent




  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.  
  • Ability to identify trends and recommend a course of action to resolve/improve/enhance the usage of our solution 
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to listen to client requirements, seek to understand their business, and translate them into the application and operational requirements 
  • Is self-motivated and a team player 
  • Has a strong interest in data reporting and willing to learn about financial markets 





  • Build expertise on Murex’ Data Reporting Tools and general knowledge of the Murex platform.
    • Know how to build Profit and Loss, Cashflow other financial reports using Murex
    • Understand the change in regulation and their impact on reporting needs
    • Understand financial products (Fx Option, Interest rate swap…) and how to extract their characteristics in reports
    • Know how to format the data for end users to easily access it
    • Know how to integrate to other systems
  • Provide in-depth technical support to customers through phone, customer portal and on-site visits
  • Works hands-on with customers to ensure successful case resolution
  • Collaborate with teammates to seek optimal solutions
  • Communicate development needs to the Murex product development team
  • Recommend integration strategies and design for data management
  • Provide trainings to customers and integration partners
  • Deliver support to pre-sales activities
  • Technology watch
  • Write documents and technical notice
