Head, Business Banking Analytics

Job responsibilities:-


  • To partner with the Business Banking division by developing strategies towards increasing client profitability, retention and cross-sell utilizing robust analytical tools and methodologies
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and generate leads through extensive data mining of Enterprise Data Warehouse, internal and external databases using statistical software e.g. SPSS, SAS.
  • Leverage customer information and the use of advanced analytics techniques to provide business insights.
  • Develop segmentations across customer base and analyze product revenue, fee revenue, profitability, etc.
  • Design marketing campaigns to test & learn around response propensity, pricing sensitivity, best time to contact, offer sequencing. Manage customer contact, tracking of campaigns and channel performance for learning and feedback.
  • Participate in the development and application of propensity models and advanced statistical techniques.
  • Develop and provide Dashboard and MIS statistics to product managers and senior management.
  • Manage relationships with the business partners across Product, Marketing, Finance and Risk to ensure on time delivery of projects and reporting.
  • Develop, maintain and optimize analytical datamarts for modeling, segmentation and campaigns.
  • Manage a team of analysts to perform analyses, tracking and campaigns
  • Strategise and drive initiatives as the analytic partner to the businesses



Experience/Qualification
  • Degree in Actuarial studies, Banking/Finance, Business, Marketing, Mathematics/Statistics or related disciplines
  • Deep knowledge of retail banking products in particular deposits/debit card
  • Proficient in SAS Programming, Enterprise Guide, SQL and MS Excel and Datawarehouse
  • Strong analytical skills, highly numerate and proactive
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • At least 15 years of relevant working experience, preferably with marketing analytics background in the banking industry
  • Exposure to business banking in asset and liability products, client evaluation and portfolio management
