Manager, Personal Loan Analytics

Functional (job responsibilities)

  • Provide analytical leadership to the team (2) to identify sales growth opportunities and develop strategies towards profitability.
  • Perform advanced analytics to support the product and credit teams across acquisition, portfolio cros-sell, utilization and line management
  • Coordinate key initiatives and manage business relationships with key business partners in Product, Credit, Operations and Finance
  • Develop segmentations across portfolios and analyze revenue, profitability, credit risk and repayment behavior
  • Manage Operational Campaigns including preparation of leads, champion-challenger pilots, tracking campaign response and post mortem on campaign, with a focus on real time, contextual campaigns
  • Participate in the development and application of scorecards, pricing elasticity models, propensity models, CHAID analysis, cluster and regression statistical tools on different initiatives; including self-learning and responsive algorithms (machine learning)
  • Manage the team to ensure that standard reporting and MIS requirements are performed and delivered successfully by the team. Develop and provide trend reports, performance dashboards and MIS statistics to product managers and senior managers

Managerial (team/group responsibilities)
  • Manage a team of analysts to perform analyses, tracking and campaigns
  • Strategize and drive initiatives as the analytic partner to the businesses


  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Credit Card or Unsecured loan Analytics either in Credit,
  • Marketing or CRM preferably in a Global or Regional Bank, or in an FMCG / Retail environment
  • Ability to articulate analyses and findings in a crisp and concise manner both verbally and through written presentations/communications.
  • Prior experience in managing a small or medium sized team of analysts is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize work-streams effective
