RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary objective of this role is to manage the functional design and solution validation of the Business Intelligence (BI) platform for Treasury. The successful candidate is expected to work closely with internal stakeholders and with technology teams to develop BI solutions for effective risk reporting and business decision making. He or she is expected to build up a strong understanding of the business, processes and data, and will work closely with Treasury end-users to drive operational efficiencies, reduce reliance on manual processes, and promote centralisation and automation of analytical solutions to achieve these objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides consultancy on the appropriate Business Intelligence processes, practices and technologies to support improved business management decision-making
• Drives the efficient design and deployment of BI tools across Treasury
• Supports analysis of business data from various platforms through a well-organised dashboard design and visualisation.
• Assists in defining and embedding operating processes for the reporting and analytics of balance sheet metrics
• Gathers and documents business requirements
• Oversees the implementation (i.e., testing, issues resolution) of new systems or modifications.
• Develops strong functional content of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions and shares best practices across various teams and aim towards enhancing the analytical quality in all reports / metrics submitted to the stakeholders.
• Designs and delivers end-user training and training materials, trains users, including executives, to transform data into action-oriented information and to use that information correctly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, specialised training/certification, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of Business Analysis or related technical experience.
• Relevant functional experience in either Treasury, Asset and Liability Management, Liquidity Risk in quantitative analytics space of 3+ years. Fresh graduates with relevant thesis in Finance/Banking field and outstanding academic record will be considered
• Change management track record working alongside software developers and Banking area stakeholders on end to end project delivery of IT platform solutions especially in Business Intelligence and Datawarehouse/Big Data areas with good knowledge of their concept and architecture.
• Previous experience working with software solution vendors as business analyst or data architect capacity.
• Ability to independently and efficiently deliver solutions based on presented concepts with technical capabilities in SQL, Java, on Data Warehousing, Big Data solution platforms and tools - like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Dremio, Scala, nice to have: SAP BO, Oracle DB, Tableau and Python
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to convert business requirements into technical items and to forge strong relationships with counterparts and stakeholders at varying levels of management.
• Critical thinker with very good analytical skills and able to tackle problems pragmatically
