Your role will involve:

  • Effectively driving change initiatives and process improvements for TMO to support business deliveries and ensuring best practice is delivered by regional and global transformation programmes
  • Identifying control gaps and drive improvement ideas for better efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Establishing close working relationship and networks at all levels, with multiple stakeholders including Front Office, Risk, Finance, Operations, Global TMO to drive a common understanding of shared goals, priorities and alignment across the business requirements
  • Continuously monitoring procedures and processes to make sure that the optimum support model is always in place, and that the appropriate documentation is kept up to date
  • Rolling out and embedding the global supervisory framework
  • Being involved in and running project initiatives
  • Ensuring timely investigations and resolution of breaks / rejections upon receiving the various Reconciliation reports
  • Collating and producing MI on trading volumes quality.  Analyse MI and report trends and spikes to Management team
  • Trade validation, lifecycle management, EOD key controls, flash P&L delivery (where applicable), as well as day to day support for trade reporting including establishment and growth of Global Operating Models

Technical Capabilities:

  • A strong understanding of relevant Markets products and their life cycle management requirements. This will include FX, FX options, Interest Rate Swaps, Cross currency Swaps, Forward Rate Agreement, Overnight Indexed Swaps, Swaptions, Bonds, Repurchase Agreements, Corporate Actions, Commercial Papers, Certificate of Deposits, etc.
  • Understanding and appreciation of the P&L process and basic P&L decomposition
  • Ability to monitor all controls, reconciliations and reports in the area are complete and signed off on a timely basis
  • Ability to analyse trading patterns to help identify/escalate potential fraudulent or unusual trading activity, and then investigate any anomalies
  • Desire to challenge and improve processes with ability to gather information from a broad range of sources and disseminate
