As the Application Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining application performance monitoring covering Openshift Container Platform, Mainframe, AS400, Unix, Windows, Network device.
You are responsible for ensuring all relevant infrastructure and services are covered within monitoring and alerting systems to ensure data are available for alerting, reporting and analysis.
You will also be working very closely with other teams (Developers, Operations, and Architects) to implement effective monitoring strategy.
As the specialist, you are also responsible for identifying and resolving problems relating to service operation and preventing their recurrence using various automation methods.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- MUST HAVE:
(a) Experienced in setting up and running application performance monitoring and alerting tools
(b) Experienced in setting up dashboards in Grafana
(c) Experienced in implementing ITRS Geneos / APM tools
(d) Experienced in Automation tools like Ansible / Chef
