AVP, Corporate Treasury - Capital Planning Team

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Capital Planning Team at Corporate Treasury. The role supports deliverables for Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP), Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Industry-Wide Stress Test (IWST) and other capital planning requirements that strengthen the resilience and resolvability of OCBC.

Role and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role are as follows:-
  • Prepare briefs and assess implications of regulatory developments in RRP, enterprise-wide stress tests, regulatory capital (Basel/RWA) and other capital planning related areas;
  • Support RRP across the Group in maintaining credible recovery plans for the Group and subsidiaries, coordinating Group resolution planning information and resolvability assessments, and benchmarking against best practices in advanced regulatory regimes to recommend practical enhancements;
  • Coordinate the Group's ICAAP, IWST and quantitative impact studies for Basel III monitoring, including cross functional initiatives to enhance these processes;
  • Review ICAAP for banking subsidiaries and overseas branches;
  • Maintain capital planning policies, guidelines and methodologies to support ICAAP;
  • Monitor capital adequacy levels and trigger management actions if required; and
  • Assist in secretariat duties for the Risk-Capital Committee.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Degree in Finance or Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
  • At least 5 years' of relevant working experience
  • Able to present comprehensive information in a concise manner
  • Self-motivated, energetic and independent
  • Familiarity with banking rules and regulations is an advantage
