DBS is modernizing its Legal, Compliance, and Secretariat (LCS) Platform consisting of Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance applications through 5 strategic transformation programs to deliver industry-leading solutions to increase effectiveness of controls, improve efficiency/productivity gains, and address employee pain points by reimagining relevant customer and employee journeys.
This role sits in the Group LCS Platform team with a primary purpose to assist/ co-own and drive the overall success of the program(s) that includes new initiatives and/or enhancements. The programme manager is responsible for the overall health and progress of the program. The role is also expected to perform
The individual is required to work and engage on various levels with partners, stakeholders to gain, record and document materials. Additionally, as part of key skill requirement, the individual is required to possess skills, and prior experience, in data extraction; be generally conversant in commercially available, or open-source, reporting, SQL or data extraction tools.
Co-define and deliver program initiatives and achieve business outcomes as per established timeline Prioritize program backlogs/requests by balancing regulatory, audit and business priorities, squad capacity, to ensure all committed timelines will be met Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues arising from program execution using agile way of working Effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and accurately communicate program progress and challenges Responsibilities
Co-manage program and product roadmap, business case, and user requirements
Document detailed business requirements/epics/user stories by liaising with business users/business analysts including the acceptance criteria Co-define program roadmap and prioritize program backlogs/requests by balancing regulatory, audit and business priorities, and squad capacity to ensure all committed timelines will be met Build business case and project recommendations as appropriate, to draw down the budget and set up financial tracking
Drive program delivery
Monitor and ensure that program/project execute flawlessly, on schedule, and without compromising quality Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the program Resolve issues and conflicts within the program, projects and project management community and with other stakeholders, if necessary. Ensure resolution of issues at program or line level and escalate issues which cannot be resolved in a timely and accurate manner. Have oversight of major production issues or remediation or resolution of data gaps within the scope of program Manage coordination across teams and other platforms by keeping transparency in the A/B/C type of work so that delivery can effectively be managed including critical areas of:
Ensuring your project dependencies on other projects /platforms are on their roadmaps and resources will be available when your teams need them Ensuring work other teams need from your team/s are included and prioritized appropriately in your teams work backlog. Highlighting capability gaps to respective team/tribe/ function leads
Oversee User Acceptance Tests and Implementation
Manage user acceptance tests, including execution of test cases as necessary, develop rollout plan and oversee implementation/live-verification activities Ensure smooth rollout of projects, complete pre and post-implementation activities in close coordination with scrum master Work closely with Technology/Operations/Business teams to resolve any implementation issues and any post-implementation stabilisation work
Manage key stakeholders and business and technology leads
Manage and communicate effectively with domain leads at senior level and working level teams in a timely and clear manner Responsible for ensuring project steering committee meetings, platform governance, cross functional, and other periodic project meetings are effective and achieve objectives in a consistent manner.
Adopt agile methodology across squads in the program and implement any DBS Platform Transformation milestones Ensure utilization of standards and practices across all projects Work with business and support unit users to drive changes to facilitate successful implementation and faster realization of benefits Requirements

Proven track record of leading projects to meet stipulated timelines with expected outcomes and quality. Work in transformation programs would be an asset. 3 years of experience in Agile practice/software development/program or project management delivery, and including partnering with Technology and Business users to deliver the outcomes Solid background in business analysis and/or root cause analysis, ideally in the Financial Services industry/Retail Banking Strong knowledge of Financial Crime, KYC/CDD, or Regulatory Compliance domain and business processes; any working experience in AML Transaction Monitoring or Sanctions screening systems (Actimize, Oracle AML, BAE NetReveal, Fircosoft, etc.) would be an asset Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and Project Management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Octane). Project Management and/or Business Analyst certification is preferable
Minimum Degree. Work experience of at least 5 years in Bank, Technology or project delivery background. Apply Now
