Business Function  Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.  Responsibilities
Training, coaching scrum teams in following agile values, principles, and practices
Scheduling and Facilitating Scrum ceremonies
Coaching the development team/s to become self-organized. Helping the teams to proactively look for impediments and taking action to prevent it from becoming blockers
Keeping the stakeholders up to date on the progress of the scrum team(s)
Partnering with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects
Coordinating dependency management with other scrum teams and non-agile teams
Guiding the scrum team(s) and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
Using empirical data to help the team(s) assess their 'Scrum Maturity', optimize team velocity and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team maturity
Contributing to scrum master community of practice (CoP), collaborating with other scrum masters in the organization and bringing in innovation and improving the existing processes
Requirements
Must have - Strong hands-on knowledge of SCRUM
Must have had hands-on experience playing a SM role for teams, preferably in a customer facing set up
Comfortable working with globally distributed scrum teams, product owners and scrum masters
Strong servant leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of other frameworks like Kanban, Crystal, FDD and XP (desirable)
Knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing and Agile Games
Good understanding of Agile metrics and how to use them in a practical way Familiar with common Agile development practices and experience working with development teams
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent
3+ years as a Scrum Master
Experience working with customers / customer teams
Experience in migrating teams from traditional to Agile
