AVP, Team Lead - Corporate Account Services, Institutional Banking Group Operations, Technology & Operations
Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.


Responsibilities
  • Managing the mandate team, monitor and support the department SLA commitment to Business Units
  • Lead/participate in department's initiatives on process improvements and system enhancements
  • Work across business and technology lines and functions to define, analyse and lead improvements to business processes and procedures
  • Monitor team effectiveness and efficiency in handling daily BAU and full compliance to policies and procedure
  • Monitor team efficiency and productivity thru work allocations via Managers Toolkit (MTK)
  • Coordinate and follow up discrepancy items with relevant parties timely and escalate any exceptions to HOD
  • Attend to escalation email & phone enquiry from BUs and operation teams
  • Handle internal and external customer complaints tactfully and ensure responsive problem solving for enquiries from branches and other units/parties within benchmark
  • Understand the bank policies on AML/CFT, information protection, risk & security control and regulatory compliance and report problem and exceptions to HOD immediately
  • Accept any Ad-hoc duties when assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent with strong domain knowledge and work experience in Corporate Banking and associated process life cycles
  • Experience in business process improvement initiatives and project management involving business process and technology change within financial institutions
  • Have a strong control and process management mindset, constantly paying attention to details and the ability to perform deep-dive investigation
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and commitment in line with best practice, regulatory and legal compliance
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to multi-task, take on different types of roles and activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate on driving changes, can flex between a team player and team leader and possess a can-do attitude
  • A people's manager, a good collaborator within a team and across all levels of stakeholders (Operating level, Business Stakeholders, Senior Management)
