Accountant

The Company
Our client, a leader in the maritime transportation industry with global presence is looking for an Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing the monthly management accounts, perform variance analysis with commentary, consolidate financial position of the company, review payments scheduled twice weekly, assist in cashflow forecast, analyzing budget and forecast, prepare flash reports, liaise with statutory auditors on annual financial audit, prepare quarterly GST, liase with tax agents on annual corporate tax returns, recommend work improvements for a more efficient workflow process and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Your Profile
You should have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification, with 3 years of relevant working experience. To succeed in this role, you should be proactive, have good attention to details, good communication skills and time management skills. Experience in SAP and experience in audit will be preferred.
