Job Description
Our client is a global fund manager looking for an accountant to join the Singapore team. The candidate needs to come with strong hands on experience, ideally in full-sets accounting.

Reporting to the Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Management and liaison for revenue-associated accounting, billings and other financial related matters.
• Prepares payroll related accounting entries
• Prepares lease schedules and related accounting entries
• Prepares GST returns and the relevant schedules for GST filings, including analysis.
• Management and accounting for distributor commission process (trail commissions), including liaison with the outsourced agent for updates and related analysis.
• Reviewer for Accounts Payable inputs.
• Liaison with overseas finance colleagues with regards to transfer pricing and intercompany cross- charges
• Balance sheet reconciliations and certification of balances in the Group accounting system
• Assist in preparation of tax provisions and closing of monthly results for the company
• Assist in preparation of monthly result reporting to directors and Group
• Assist in preparation of responses to head office queries on financial results and analysis.
• Completion of reporting packs for submission to Head Office
• Preparation of regulatory and statutory submissions and financial surveys for MAS and other regulators and government bodies.
• Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements and assistance with the statutory audit process including liaising with external auditors
• Preparation of corporate tax schedules as required and assist with liaising with the tax agent

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, from financial services
• Strong communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Team player
