- Our client is one of the leading players in the securities services industry. They provide infrastructure and securities services for post trade securities transaction globally. They are currently looking for a Accounting Officer to join their expanding and growing team
Description
Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting, your key responsibilities would include:
- Handling day-to-day accounting operations of their Singapore entities
- Accounting (Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets)
- Accounts reconciliation and Intercompany reconciliation
- Prepare statutory accounts for various corporates as well as regulated Singapore based entities including branches of European companies
- Perform month end closing process including delivery for group accounts on various levels
- Support preparation of deferred tax and tax computation
- Handling the quarterly GST computation and submission
- Handling regulatory reporting and submission
- Direct dealing with tax advisors, internal and external auditors
Profile
To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:
- Degree in Accounting or other professional certification in Accounting
- At least 3 years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience
- Experienced in regulatory reporting would be advantageous
- Knowledge in SAP system
- Experienced in IFRS & SG GAAP
- Strong team player and passion in accounting & finance
