Responsibilities:
1. Mentor Managers and Development Leads in managing efforts consistent with the Agile mindset. Promote and challenge others to foster teamwork and use disciplined Agile approaches for developing quality software.
2. Coach 5-8 teams simultaneously by directly observing team activities, guide them through Agile discovery and learning, provide general and role-based training, and help raise and solve impediments.
3. Coach/Facilitate business leads in lean thinking and development of Minimal Viable Products (MVP). Coache Scrum Masters, product management, technology leads and other roles aligned with software development in their respective function within an Agile environment
4. Facilitate program/platform retrospectives (teams and management).
5. Act as an enterprise thought leader; develops creative ways to embed Agile ceremonies, practices and values across development teams
6. Raise recurring/widely observed issues and bottlenecks to stakeholders, develops and implements comprehensive solutions
7. Develop Agile guidance, training materials, and content; translate industry best practices into actionable recommendations
Requirements:
1. 8+ years of agile software development.
2. 5+ years as an Agile Coach applying several industry best practices.
3. 4+ years tailoring solutions to complex efforts for leaders.
4. Experience using Rally, Jira, & LeanKit.
5. Track record of entering an organization, assessing existing agile capability at the Team and Program level.
