Job Purpose :

T&O Risk Management - RSU provides the full support to DBS group in the management of Nostro & General ledger accounts reconciliation. The unit has three functions:- Nostro account reconciliation, General Ledger reconciliation for Consumer banking business & the Business Management Support (BMS) that manages reconciliation system's static data, feeds processes and production of daily escalation reports and MIS aging reports for stakeholders

The Analyst/Associate role is to support the Business Management Support (BMS) team and participate in new business initiatives and projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage reconciliation system processes, including but not limited to static data updates, statement data upload and upstream data feeds monitoring.
  • Reconciliation system auto-match rules analysis, creation, and testing.
  • Escalate any exception, error s and abnormal issues identified during daily processing.
  • Ensure timely response to all queries received from internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop working knowledge of relevant workflow and office systems. Provide suggestions on improvement to reduce operation risks and increase productivity.
  • Manage Weekly/Monthly MIS reporting to senior management.
  • To closely work with the Project team for successful on-time UAT testing and Project delivery.
  • To track Project progress and monitor work plan execution.
  • To schedule relevant Project meetings, take notes and prepare the MoM.
  • To articulate business case scenarios and contribute towards the development and scoping of the Project.
  • To help coordinate with surround Project team members to achieve project objectives.
  • To support the different testing cycles, analyze the results and submit observations to the Project Manager.
  • To ensure that all Project work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
  • To create all Project related documentation and participate in project related walkthroughs.
  • To prepare all Project related reports.
  • To highlight risk and issues impacting the project to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure all work performed is in accordance with the established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards as applicable.
  • Full compliance with all the Bank's policies, guidelines and code of conduct .
  1. Minimum 5 years of working experience in Banking Operations/ Technology.
  2. Reconciliation process re-engineering achieving standardization and improvement in controls.
  3. Enhancement of auto matching rules.
  4. Strong people management capability including coaching, development & retention of talent.
  5. Ability to work well with stakeholders across different business and countries.
  6. Oversee daily production activities, deputise the team lead.

    Prior experience in Payments/Remittances/Telegraphic Transfer Operations
    Experience in managing SmartStream TLM system or other reconciliation systems will be highly beneficial.
