This is fast growing oil trading company with a significant presence in Asia Pacific, and is one of the market leaders in its field. An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Assistant Finance Manager to join the team in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Assistant Finance Manager will lead the team in the trade accounting and Marked-to-Market (MTM) entries for the monthly closing. He / she will be involved in the reconciliation of the PNL, and the analysis of the trade flows.
The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for the group consolidation work for reporting to HQ, and will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial reporting work for the entities.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a degree in a finance discipline. Ideally, you will have worked at least 5-7 years in accounting and finance in commodities trading companies, either in energy or non-energy commodities experience.
Ideally, you should have both consolidation experience and commodities trading experience.
This role is open to candidates from big4 whom has audit experience in both commodities trading and consolidation.
You will be described as strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
