Assistant Head of Risk Management, Risk Management

Job Responsibilities

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assist in the setting up of the Risk Management Department in accordance to the guidelines as provided by MAS
• Identify actual and potential risk together with the Heads of the respective department/s;
• Measure risk both qualitatively and quantitatively to facilitate risk identification and management;
• Monitor risk regularly and ad-hoc basis in a timely fashion;
• Preparing of both regular and ad-hoc Risk Management Report in a timely fashion for the Management to make prompt and informed decision;
• Prepare and update the Risk Management Policy and Procedure;
• Liaise with the relevant authorities and external parties with regards to the Risk Management issues of the Branch.
• Training and mentoring staff members on effective Risk Management
   

Requirements 

• Accredited degree from a reputable university
• Experience in risk management (operational risk and credit risk)
• 5 years’ experience working in a bank in Singapore
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate issues to manager
