Assistant Manager, Accounting

Apex Group is looking for an Assistant Manager, Accounting to join an inclusive and collaborative team in Singapore. The full-time hybrid-working accounting role offers an attractive salary and benefits package.

As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the team to ensure high-quality client service. You will also supervise administrators for journals and accounts preparation, payment preparation and relevant reporting.

In your first few weeks in this accounting role, you can expect to:

• Review and approve the payments, tax payments, claims and expenses
• Undertake first-reviewer responsibilities for accounts linked to simple, less complex structures
•  Ensure client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines.

To apply for this account management role, you will need to be a graduate in accounting or finance and a qualified or part-qualified accountant. You will also require the following:

• At least 4 years of experience within corporate or fund administration, alternative asset management and/or public accounting
• Understanding of regulatory and financial reporting regimes
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
