The role would involve developing business and investment theses, conducting due diligence and working closely with platform / portfolio companies.

Core functions/Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee current portfolio investments in EDG as needed.
Produce and communicate internal reports, business cases and proposals for internal review and investment decisions.
Maintain a continual awareness of the industry, emerging trends and factors which influence the value of portfolio companies and opportunities for growth."
Lead in the execution/implementation of strategic projects. Examples include the development of new platform companies or transformation of portfolio companies."
Lead due diligence, execute investment opportunities, joint ventures and strategic partnerships/ alliances for Temasek and portfolio companies.
Create business cases, ideate value creation propositions and develop execution roadmap for new opportunities. Follow through with successfully execution.
Provide guidance and training to the team - includes technical, commercial, legal and financial

Qualifications/Capabilities/Experience

A good degree from a recognised institution."
At least [ 5 ] years working experience. Preferred experience includes Management Consulting, M&A, Corporate Finance.
Experience in leading a team / coaching juniors.
Exceptional strategic ability. Analytical and intellectually curious individual with track record of leading transactions / projects.
High personal integrity and challenging of self and team.
Ability to manage"multiple priorities"and reporting ambiguities.
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders, internally and externally."
