The role involves leading and managing various aspects of restructuring and insolvency engagements. Key responsibilities include handling day-to-day issues related to restructuring and insolvency, developing strong relationships with stakeholders, creditors, and advisors, conducting thorough accounting record reconstructions, overseeing investigation work for asset recovery, leading client meetings and strategy discussions, handling statutory and compliance matters for insolvency cases, participating in business development and marketing activities, and coaching and developing the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field is required.
- At least 9 years of prior experience in a restructuring and insolvency team is necessary.
- Ability to supervise the work of associates to managers.
- Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills.
- A good understanding of business drivers and fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and financial modelling skills are beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
