The Role Responsibilities

Tableau - Central co-ordination for change requests & user community
  • Act as central coordinator for gathering enhancement requirements from Regional teams, making sure that business benefits of all requests submitted are clearly defined.
  • Work closely with technology to manage and obtain development efforts for all enhancements
  • Work with Regional team to prioritise enhancements to be delivered within the development resources available
  • Build, maintain and drive BI Solution user community for Treasury
  • Co-ordinate user testing for all enhancements developed by technology
  • Maintain and update communications on SCB internal communication site: The Bridge
  • Assist Tableau users and advise on Tableau capabilities to improve business processes.
  • Work with the Tableau-dedicated team in Chennai to ensure that dashboards developed by the team are fit for purpose and delivered on a timely manner.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gain understanding of business practices and suggest areas for automation of manual reporting.
  • Support Dashboard development where required.
Change Management - Central coordination & Regional team support
  • Work closely with Regional Analytics teams to ensure that prioritised requirements are received in accordance with the published change release cycle timelines.
  • Support Regional team with any questions on change management processes.
  • Work closely with FOT and technology to collect all development efforts for all JIRAs raised by regional team for prioritisation.
  • Represent Treasury in change management project working groups to track progress and timelines for release of prioritised items.
  • Guide and assist Chennai Change Management in preparation of test cases to be tested for each change release JIRA prioritised.
  • Review results of User testing conducted by the Chennai change management team and ensure that the results are signed off in accordance with agreed operating model on a timely basis.
BAU Support
  • Assist in resolving ad-hoc queries relating to Insight and Tableau Dashboards
  • Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology (including vendors) stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Banking / Statistics / Finance or other quantitative field
  • 1-5 years' experience in an Asset Liability Management, Treasury, Risk, or Product Control role.
  • General understanding of liquidity management, as well as balance sheet management concepts and dynamics across commercial and trading balance sheets.
  • Expertise in Tableau design and development is an advantage
  • Ability to accurately gather and document business requirements and functional designs
  • Work experience in end-to-end change management from business requirement definition, solution validation, user testing and production roll out.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams, including working across different departments, countries and cultures.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to varying levels of management
  • Fast learner with a strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SCB internal processes, organization, systems and infrastructure is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Balance Sheet Management platforms (Moody's Analytics, Sungard, Oracle, etc.) or booking platforms (Murex, Kondor, etc.) is an advantage.
