The Role Responsibilities
Business
  • Review and feedback on operational resilience process guidance notes
Processes
  • Support scenario testing to establish vulnerabilities in resilience of operational assets (IT, Data, 3rd parties, people, property etc).
  • Support the delivery of scenario testing and exercising with MT on a regular basis to ensure preparedness for any contingency
  • Support operational resilience vulnerabilities management
  • Support Group Resilience Team to produce training materials.
  • Perform training of Operational Resilience systems to stakeholders if necessary.
Risk Management
  • Support implementation of the operational delivery, controls, reporting, and governance of the Operational Resilience agenda.
  • Ensure Operational Resilience risks in Businesses and Functions are proactively managed.
  • Coordinate with Businesses, Functions and Regions to devise operational resilience risk metrics
  • Validate the accuracy and consistency of KRIs, KCIs and other risk ratings/assessments, as well as process designs using available MI.
Governance
  • Support 2nd line changes necessary to deliver Operational Resilience (e.g. policy, standard and controls)
  • Subject matter expertise in emerging Operational Resilience Regulations.
  • Experience in dealing with Operational Risk and CISRO and their Risk Type Frameworks
  • Co-ordinate and provide oversight of any system or process changes required to implement operational resilience
  • Communicate with Business, Regional Stakeholders and senior business members with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Express complex ideas simply and create compelling storylines.
  • Support the writing and reviewing of policies, standards, procedures
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Our Ideal Candidate
  • A degree holder preferably in Banking or Information Technology.
  • 8 and more years of relevant experience, within which proven experience in project and / or risk management role in Banking is preferred; Exposure to a large-scale Programme is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, across various levels in the organization
  • Good understanding of Risk Governance within the Bank including systems used.
  • Experience with 'agile' ways of working.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to deliver with little management supervision.
  • Is creative, energetic, determined, positive, goal focused and consistent.
  • Great team player.
