About the Role - Part of the Front Office Business Support, Trade Control Team

Role Type: Full Time, 16 Mth Fixed Term Contract
As a Business Analyst, Trade Control you will provide support for the Global Markets business via the creation, enhancement and daily running of various trade controls to ensure that exceptions and risk are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
Your role focuses on performing day to day processes under the Trade Control team, as well as playing a proactive role in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce operational risk for the business. As part of trade capture control, you will perform validation of bullion trades.
This role is a subject matter expert (SME), you will contribute to new control design and implementation of systems enhancements and works closely with various stakeholders including Trading, Sales, Business Managers, Structuring, Business Governance, Markets Surveillance and Project Management teams.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
- Experience in trade validation or surveillance and knowledge of FICC asset classes (FX, Commodities and Rates & Credit) is an advantage, as the role involves handling cross asset class trades.
- Good communication skills and able to articulate issues and concerns to stakeholders.
- Ability to drive small to medium scale projects independently by coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Detailed and ability to analyse and interpret data and processes.
- Pro-active and collaborative approach in resolving issues.
