We are hiring for a member of the Distribution Services team, dedicated to client servicing for Intermediary team!

Role & Responsibility


1) Dedicated Client service contact         

  • Serves as the dedicated CS contact
  • Picks up and responds to day-to-day client queries
  • Engages with clients to understand any unique requirements, and assess feasibility (work with internal stakeholders to streamline processes where appropriate)
  •  Prepare and send monthly/quarterly and other client reports


2) On-going management of client relationships

i) Fund reviews (with product gatekeepers)

  • Work closely with Investment Product teams for Fund review preparation and other ad-hoc investment-related queries
  • Perform peer group analysis and monitor performance of identified key funds

ii) Support on Marketing Campaigns

  • Agree with Sales Person-in-Charge on campaigns  (including client events, marketing collaterals, premiums etc)
  • Work with marketing team to plan and implement the campaign
  • Identify relevant marketing content and thought leadership pieces to communicate with clients

iii) Other value add (eg digital delivery)

  • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop new digital engagement tools and materials to train clients more efficiently and effectively

iv) Organise annual client strategy review with SIMSL management :

  • Map client’s products and identify gaps
  • Map client key stakeholders and touchpoints  
  • Gain insights into client’s biz strategy through a combination of (a) desktop research (b) on-the-ground client intel (c) Mkt Intelligence Unit’s industry data

v) New Fund pitchbook/ Visitors’ deck

  • Review to  ensure suitability of content and USP
  • Adapt to ensure compliance (eg disclaimers)


3)  Middle Office & Governance 

  • Conduct KYC/AML and other on-boarding documentation and processes
  • Maintain database of client reporting needs and ensure robust process in place to fulfil
  • Interface with external and internal stakeholders on legal contracts, agreements and offering documents


4)   Distribution interface and representation for Schroder’s initiatives   

  • Apollo Digital Client Reporting
  • CORE
  • Client Service Review etc


Experience and Skills


Technical skills :

  • Recognised banking or finance university degree with at least 3 years of prior experience in asset management/funds  related work
  • Good knowledge of mutual funds
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Powerpoint and Excel (including spreadsheet analysis)
