A global bank is seeking a veteran Fraud Risk specialist to enhance its fraud detection and investigation capabilities as well as to transform its fraud risk management culture, processes and technology capabilities across the first and second lines of defence.

This is a unique opportunity to challenge yourself on a global banking platform and make a lasting impact on the bank's fraud risk management control framework and governance structure. You will work with a superb team consisting of diverse senior talents from global banks, the regulator, as well as regional banks. Focusing chiefly on the Consumer Banking business, you will design, advise, build and implement a robust fraud prevention and resolution system within a banking business with scale and complexities. In addition to this satisfaction, you will be rewarded with a total compensation package of up to S$270,000.

You will be responsible for:

To lead the design, build and implementation of policies, control framework, practices and technology solutions for a robust fraud risk function.
Be a subject matter expert, thought leader and advisor to business and first line of defence for the prevention of fraud in the various business lines of the bank.
Interface with regulators, policy makers, investigators and industry leaders on all fraud related matters.
Work with technology to put in place strong solutions for surveillance and early detection of potential fraud.

You should have

Expert knowledge of banking regulations and criminal law is imperative.
In-depth strategic, solution and advisory capabilities in the area of fraud.
Excellent stakeholder skills, articulate, able to identify as well as strongly and appropriately bring attention to fraud risks in the business.
Good senior gravitas yet has an ability to be hands-on.
