Overview of the Workforce 4.0 Team The Workforce 4.0 team was set up with the objective of supporting Temasek ecosystem's human capital journey to achieve long-term sustainable business growth. The team is guided by the following key principles:
- Derive aggregated solutions with horizontal effects
- Understand and address concerns from Temasek Tripartite stakeholders
- Create a catalytic effect for our ecosystem of companies
To achieve the above, we undertake various workstreams of activities to:
- Drive proactive ecosystem engagement through relationship and awareness building, identifying gaps and synergies for collaboration
- Leverage and unlock our centres of excellence through enhancing business thought leadership with human capital perspectives and enablers; and
- Deploy catalytic capital by mobilizing capital across human, finance, natural and social segments
Role Overview This role is focused on the planning, organisation and management of Temasek's Tripartite Conversations platform and activities. This is in support of Temasek's objective to strengthen tripartite relations between the Government, our portfolio companies and related labour unions, particularly in discussing emerging industry/policy developments and their workforce implications as well as catalysing related solutions.
Responsibilities - Research, monitor and provide assessment of emerging trends, strategic and policy issues that impact the workforce in Temasek and its wider ecosystem
- Identify and map key stakeholders and influencers (including political office holders, government officials/regulators, trade unions and industry players)
- Develop and support in executing engagement strategies to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen Temasek's network of partners
- Co-drive (under the guidance of senior team members) the planning, organisation and management of engagement and networking platforms/events, especially the Temasek Tripartite Conversations
- Coordinate with external vendors, support logistics preparation and assist in the execution of team's engagement events/initiatives.
Requirements / Key Attributes - Degree in Public Policy, Business Management/Marketing or Human Resources
- Min. 3 years of relevant working experience in government relations/public policy/HR consulting from a workforce angle
- Events planning experience highly advantageous, with good knowledge of protocol management
- Strong analytical, presentation (written and oral) and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
