Data Scientist - People Analytics Our client is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to drive development of people analytics products through data-enabled insights and supports strategic decisions around managing people performance and risks.
Mandatory Skills:
- Master of Business Administrations or master's in quantitative fields (Computer Science, Statistics or similar) with minimum of 2 - 12 years of overall experience.
- Experience programming in Python, Java, SQL (MySQL, Postgre, Teradata, etc.), SAS, Julia, C, C++, R, Matlab
- Experience in BI Platforms like Tableau, Qliksense, Power BI
- Regression models, Hidden Markov models, SVM, Dimensionality Reduction, Decision Trees, Clustering, Optimization algorithms
- Boosted models, Random Forest, Ensemble algorithms, Natural language processing, Neural network models
- Understanding FS industry fundamentals and business problems to find new ways to leverage data, and/or experience of working with HR data to solve strategic problems related to the workforce
- Intellectual curiosity to solve data driven problems.
- Independent thoughts and unique ideas on solving business problems
- Able to collaborate / virtually manage multi-cultural, multi-disciplined, globally dispersed teams
- Strong communication skills to be able to explain highly technical problems in simple layman form
- Ability to articulate the impact of decisions and recommend improvements

- Relevant experience in Banking and financial institutions
Job Responsibilities:
- Exceptional analytic experience & technical skills. State-of-the-art expertise across, data/information preparation and data insight & visualization using BI (or similar tools).
- Be an analytics technical expert. Lead and explain/educate to all levels people in these areas, Analytics, Coding, Structured & Unstructured Databases, Statistical algorithms and Models, Machine learning and AI, Frameworks and Libraries.
- Contribute to the development of in-house data products. Use your analytics expertise plus FS domain and/or human resource functional knowledge, problem solving skills and independent thinking to create in-house data, information and analytics products.
- Be a team player & an individual contributor. Work with HR colleagues from within and outside of the People Analytics team, the wider GDO (Global Data Office) team and other business function colleagues as part of larger deliveries, as well as being able to work independently or in small teams to continuously deliver business value for the client.
