Director - Commodities Product Control

We are supporting our client, a top tier international commodities group who is seeking to recruit a senior manager to oversee their global Product Control division to drive strategy, implementation and delivery. Overseeing trade reporting, process and controls, data and analytics and derivatives commodity compliance you will champion change and automation. You will partner with senior management to pioneer the design of group level product control standard services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise to develop the global vision for service delivery
- Define and deliver a differentiatied service strategy for commodities product control with a focus on metals
- Develop key metrics for trade product control processes and evaluate performance and control
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to implement trading and risk management vision
- Manage, oversee and grow a high performing team responsible for daily position and P&L reporting
- Perform gap analysis and drive talent capability growth
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- 10 years + experience within product control or related function with strong product knowledge in commodities, metals would be highly regarded
- A track record of success in a senior management role where continuous improvement, automation and best practice has been a key focus
- Exceptional business partnering skills
- Ability to challenge efficiency and drive forward on change and innovation of processes
